Shackles are a versatile connecting link for wire rope, chain, and are an essential tool for lifting, rigging and pulling.
Bow shackles are similar to anchor shackles, both have a larger, rounded ‘O’ shape appearance. Generally, a bow shackle has a larger, more defined ‘bow’ area in comparison to an anchor shackle. The shackle’s rounded design takes loads from various directions and handles a larger strap. This type 316 stainless steel shackle is ‘marine grade’, which contains molybdenum making it resistant to corrosion. Ideal for use in extreme conditions, and environments subject to ocean spray, mist or high chloride.
